Planning & Zoning
Planning and zoning is crucial for shaping how land is used and developed in a community, ensuring a balance between individual property rights and the broader public interest. Planning involves long-term strategic visions for development, while zoning implements those visions with specific regulations.
The City Clerk, Zoning Administrator, and Zoning Board work together to handle the issuance of permits.
